Everything has its time

wall clock  |  2012

We respect Shiro Kuramata, one of Japan's most important designers. We are usually aware of time as a tool to structurally live our lives, and therefore we use the clock to measure time. In contrast, this clock has been equipped with organic materials such as a feather, or a flower, as one of its hands, to signify that even time is not eternal, and does have its limits. This artwork also reminds us that everything has its own perception of time, and its own pace.
